About the position

The Governance Council is the decision-making body for MEEK's most important choices—where treasury capital goes, what policies govern the community, and how the project evolves over time. As a Council Member, you'll participate in votes, debates, and strategy discussions that shape MEEK's future. This role requires integrity, long-term thinking, and the ability to represent community interests over personal gain. Council Members are trusted stewards, not rulers. The 99% holds you accountable.

Job responsibilities

As a Governance Council Member, you'll engage in structured decision-making processes alongside other elected or appointed members. You'll balance multiple perspectives while keeping MEEK's mission at the center.

• Review and vote on venture funding proposals that pass initial review.
• Participate in policy discussions regarding community guidelines and governance rules.
• Represent diverse community perspectives in strategic debates.
• Hold other council members and core team accountable to stated values.
• Communicate council decisions transparently to the broader community.

This is a part-time, remote role compensated in $MEEK tokens plus elevated governance privileges. Ideal for long-term holders with demonstrated commitment to MEEK's success and values.
